The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused People and Capability Advisor to join our People & Safety team. If you’re someone who is collaborative, solutions and impact focussed, executes with pragmatism, has a 'can-do' attitude, is a starter/finisher, and a team player, you’ll fit right in! This role is key to supporting our Head of People & Safety and partnering with managers across the business to deliver top-notch HR solutions that drive engagement, performance, and capability.
The Role
- Provide specialist advice on employment relations, performance management, and change initiatives.
- Partner with managers to build leadership capability and drive a positive workplace culture.
- Contribute to succession planning, training, and development initiatives that make a real impact.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Support policy development, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR, ideally within FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of NZ employment law and HR best practices
- Exceptional communication skills and a knack for building strong relationships
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to continuous improvement
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

We do this through the nutritious mushrooms we grow and the numerous community groups or not-for-profit organisations we support with monetary and food donations. But we also do it through the many local suppliers and service providers we use, and the jobs we create to support our local and national economy.
