About Meadow Mushrooms
Meadow Mushrooms has been in the business of nourishing New Zealand communities since 1970. We do this through the nutritious mushrooms we grow and the numerous community groups or not-for-profit organisations we support with monetary and food donations. But we also do it through the many local suppliers and service providers we use, and the jobs we create to support our local and national economy.
We put the sustainability of our business over the past 50 years down to our passion and our people, right across the supply chain – from engineers, growers, harvesters and packers to procurement, technical, human resources, finance, sales, marketing and more. We employ close to 500 staff, most of whom are based at our farm or our composting site, both proudly set in the heart of Canterbury.
